The ever-evolving Spell Designs has just released the well-awaited second drop of their Lotus collection. Luxuriously different and unique, it is obvious that Spell Designs is changing up their style to totally dominate the Australian fashion industry. This new collection is luxurious and high fashion, but still stays true to the Spell roots with a bohemian touch emphasised by the colours and fits that are reminiscent of eastern spices, fabrics and market places from centuries long ago.
We are never let down by Spell Design's photoshoots, they are always able to find a location and props, that not only compliments the clothing but communicates a story. The Lotus collection was shot in a mansion just outside of Paris, the final touch in communicating that elegant, older century feel. Of course the mansion was filled with vintage treasures that embellished the story.
The Lotus garment's vibrant colours convey a certain opulence about the collection, coming in the Ruby and Peacock colours. Ruby is bright red and bold, a colour scheme that is going to make heads turn for all the right reasons. The Peacock style is a little more subtle, but still filled with pastel hues that are playful and young.
We love the Lotus Jacket in Ruby for its versatility and uniqueness. We would team this baby with a pair of your favourite jeans and a cute graphic tee, like the Spell classic raglans!
