It is that time of the year again! The festival season is beginning with Blues festival around the corner and high anticipation for Byron Bay’s Splendour in the Grass following last Wednesday’s line up unveiling. As festival fashionistas begin their search for their festival get-up, Spell have just released their gorgeous festival 17’ range ‘Lolita’.
Featuring beautiful vintage tones and flowing hippy styles, this fresh collection takes Spell back to their roots of 70’s gypsy. The range includes stunning maxi and mini dresses, blouses and maxi skirts with unique features such as daring back cut outs and leg splits. The material of each piece perfectly trails behind, perfect for dancing around at a festival in.
Spell always has beautiful unique prints and this drop did not shy away from using the ultimate bohemian dream print. The print features a stunning diamond shape laced with gorgeous floral embellishments. Lover, the pink and yellow version is soft and dainty while 70’s rust and campfire are more daring colours, teaming black, red and orange for a retro 70’s aesthetic. Perhaps the most underrated version is Bluebelle, a gorgeous monochromatic blue print that looks electric when worn.
Spell is known for their inspiration filled photo shoots and Lolita was another hit. What better muse to use then festival queen Annalise McLachlan, who is known for her daring, unique and gorgeous festival ensembles. Annalise models this gorgeous collection against backdrops of the Byron Bay hinterland with glamorous bohemian sets that include dangling scarf forts, batik rugs, a vintage caravan and Jimi Hendrix posters.
We still have a select few styles online of this collection so be quick and deck yourself in Spell’s Lolita for your next festival adventure.
